David Gowens received his BBA degree at West Texas State University in 1983. David's dedication to his clients has earned him The National Quality Award, and the National Sales Achievement Award. Because of his dedicated service for his clients, his client retention ranks among the highest in the nation. David has 27 years experience in the financial services industry. He acquired his investments license as well as earned the LUTCF Designation in 1986.

David and his wife LaDelle moved with their two children, Hayden and Hannah to the Austin area from Amarillo, TX. in 2000. In Amarillo, David served as a Board Member and Officer of the Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. His civic services includes Kiwanis Club and Toastmasters. He is a member of the Oak Hill Primitive Baptist Church. He has been involved in coaching his son's football and baseball teams. David also enjoys photography, tennis, chess, snow skiing, and team sports and is an avid fan of Drum Corp. International.
